These Terms govern your use of the website at tfsschool.com and the First Steps school-management platform (the "Platform"), operated by The First Steps School ("the School", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform on behalf of a student, you accept these Terms on their behalf.

Accounts

• Accounts are issued by the School to enrolled students, their parents/guardians, and staff. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Notify the school office promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
• For security, the Platform signs you out automatically after a period of inactivity.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended educational and administrative purposes, and not to:

• access data or accounts that are not yours;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Platform;
• upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; or
• use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Fees & payments

• The School issues fee invoices through the Platform. Fees are payable by the due date stated on each invoice, by bank transfer (IBFT) using the reference provided.
• The Platform is under active development and improvement. Fee invoices and account balances may occasionally be adjusted, reconciled, or re-issued to reflect the correct amounts. The most recent invoice and the School’s official records prevail; if you believe an invoice is incorrect, please contact the school office and we will review and correct it.
• Payments are recorded once verified by the School.

Intellectual property

The Platform, the website, and their content — including learning materials, lessons, text, graphics, and the School’s name and logo — are the property of the School or its licensors and are provided for the personal, educational use of our school community. You may not copy, redistribute, or use them for any other purpose without our permission.

Content you provide

You retain ownership of the information and files you upload (such as payment receipts). By uploading them, you grant the School permission to store and use them as needed to provide the services described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform loads content over the internet and requires a working connection. We may suspend access for maintenance or to protect the Platform’s security.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the School is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

Access to the Platform is tied to your relationship with the School (as an enrolled student, guardian, or staff member) and may be suspended or ended when that relationship ends, or if these Terms are breached.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quetta, Pakistan.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
